Karaoke tonight with some friends at a new (to us) place in the city. Now, I’ve been to karaoke places probably a dozen times and I’ve yet to ever actually sing. I’ve gotten to the point of picking out a song, which I believe was “Faithfully” by Journey, but when it came up, I stuck with my signature song of silence.
This time, after the advent of regular home karaoke with Rock Band and SingStar, with which I have logged HOURS at the mic, there is still a solid chance that I will stick to my usual playlist, which is, again…nothing. I am leaning towards “The Girl is Mine”, but I can’t find a video for it anywhere (REALLY?!?!?!?!), so this will have to do in the meantime:

UPDATE: I totally did it. Started with a duet of “The Girl is Mine”, did “Heartbreaker”, tried “Holding Out for a Hero”, but gave it up. This was all due to extenuating circumstances. A funny thing happened on the way to Karaoke. Stay tuned.
